He was only 7, but he’d seen mommy do it before, so he selected ‘Warm’, ‘Heavy Load’, ‘Extra Rinse’, and pushed the start button. As the washing machine rumbled to life, he heard his little sister crying in the bathroom. He had no other choice. Mommy was gone and he didn’t know how to change her diaper, so he had to put her in the tub with some soap.
He thought it would be a quick job, but it seemed like forever before the machine finished its cycle. When he opened the lid, he was horrified to find his little sister had been replaced with a pile of clothes. He frantically searched the house for her, but she was nowhere to be found.
He soon realized that something had taken her away while he was distracted. He was scared and alone, and he knew he had to be brave to find his little sister. He grabbed a flashlight and went outside, determined to find out what had happened.
As he searched the darkness, he heard a faint giggle coming from the nearby woods. He followed the sound until he came to a clearing, where he saw a woman with long white hair and a pale face, wearing a black dress. She was holding his little sister, and he knew immediately that she was a witch.
The witch cackled and said, “You should have changed her diaper. Now she belongs to me!” She then vanished into thin air, leaving the little boy alone and terrified.
He never saw his little sister again, and he was never able to forget the witch’s warning. From that day on, he was always careful to change his little sister’s diaper, no matter what.
