Immortality is indeed a blessing.

The immortals’ perk of body regeneration in the age of famine was truly a gift to humanity. However, this blessing was not without its consequences. Little did the mortals know that the immortals had a hidden agenda.

When night fell, the immortals would emerge from the shadows, their eyes glowing with an unnatural hunger. They would roam the streets in search of their next victims, draining them of their life force.

The mortals were powerless against these immortal predators, and those who were unfortunate enough to cross their path were never seen again. As the years passed, the number of victims rose and fear spread throughout the land.

No one knew how to stop the immortals, and the mortals’ only hope was to pray that they would never be chosen as prey.
