I awoke to find that someone had given me a manicure, each nail carefully filed and painted with a dark, shimmery polish.

It was very easy to see that a lot of care was given to each and every finger, before they were left in a neat line on my nightstand. I had no idea who had done this, and I was filled with dread as I tried to figure out what was going on.

I slowly got out of bed and walked over to the nightstand, picking up each finger one by one. As I examined them, I noticed that each one had a different design painted on it. One had a skull, another a spider, and another a snake. I was starting to feel more and more uneasy as I realized that the designs were all symbols of death.

I quickly put the fingers back on the nightstand and started to look around my room for any clues as to who had done this. I noticed a faint smell of perfume in the air, and I noticed that the window was slightly ajar. I knew that someone had been in my room, and I was scared to death.

I started to search the rest of the house, but I couldn’t find anyone. I was relieved that I was still alone, but I was still scared. I had no idea who had done this and why. I was starting to think that it was some kind of warning, but I couldn’t figure out what it meant.

I spent the rest of the night in fear, and I eventually fell asleep, still not knowing who had done this or why. The next morning, I woke up to find that the fingers were gone. I was relieved, but I was still filled with fear. I had no idea who had been in my room, or what they wanted. All I knew was that they had left me a warning, and I had to be careful.
