As I sank beneath the waves and took what should’ve been my last breath, I was even more horrified to learn that I could breathe underwater as I continued sinking ever deeper. I had no idea what was happening, but I couldn’t help but feel as though I was being watched.
The water around me was dark and murky, but I could make out a faint light in the distance. I swam towards it, my fear of the unknown pushing me forward. As I got closer, I could make out a figure in the light. It was a woman, her eyes glowing a bright blue.
My heart raced as I approached her. She had a sinister look on her face and I knew I was in trouble. She began to speak, her voice like a siren song.
“Welcome to my domain, foolish mortal. You have been chosen to join me in my underwater kingdom. You will never be able to leave, and you will never be able to take a breath of air again. You belong to me now.”
I knew I was doomed. I had never learned to swim, and now I was trapped in an underwater prison with no way out. I had to find a way to escape, but I knew it was impossible. I was doomed to live in this watery abyss forever.
