Little did he know that the device’s effects will also be applicable on him. As he made the final adjustments, the scientist felt a chill pass through his body. He had done it! He had finally created a machine that could freeze time.
The scientist was ecstatic with his accomplishment, and he immediately began to experiment with the device. He froze a glass of water, a blade of grass, and even a bird in mid-flight. Everything he tried worked perfectly, and he was sure that he could use this device to change the world.
But then, something strange began to happen. He noticed that he was starting to feel cold, and his movements were becoming sluggish. He realized that he was being affected by the device as well. He was slowly being frozen in time.
The scientist tried to undo the effects, but it was too late. He was stuck in time, unable to move or speak. He was doomed to an eternity of being unable to do anything but watch as the world passed him by.
