Alaska has canceled winter snow crab season in the Bering Sea for the first time in history after a billion crabs “disappeared”. Man-made climate change has awoken whatever was sleeping in those cold, dark depths – and it’s hungry.

The fishermen had never seen anything like it. The waters of the Bering Sea, once teeming with snow crab, were eerily quiet – as if all the creatures had vanished into thin air. With the winter snow crab season now cancelled, the townspeople of Alaska are left to ponder the strange and terrifying possibility that whatever was lurking beneath those icy depths had woken up. Rumors swirled that an ancient force had been disturbed by man-made climate change – and that it was hungry. The fishermen knew better than to mess with forces beyond their control. They packed up their gear and left the desolate shore, hoping never to return to those cursed waters again. Yet, as the last boat departed, a strange creature emerged from the churning waves, its glowing eyes promising a feast of blood and flesh for whoever dared to cross its path.
